Moving forward with technology, moving forward with creating jobs, and moving forward with education. And we didn’t stop when COVID hit.
We were the only community in Massachusetts that had a plan for a pandemic before it happened. So when it happened, we were ready. Our city employees remained dedicated to continuing to provide every city service. We are continuing to operate under the “new normal”, working hand in hand with the state Department of Public Health to make sure our residents and businesses have every resource they need.
Even in a pandemic, it doesn’t mean we stop progress. In fact, our team worked harder than ever.
As a team, we’ve touched every corner of the city…every neighborhood. Whether it’s paving streets and fixing sidewalks, creating and renovating our neighborhood parks, or partnering with the private sector to build and repair housing, if it’s been important to you it’s been important to me.
City wide we have worked to improve our infrastructure, build and modernize new and existing schools, and bought thousands of acres of open space to ensure our City’s quality of life is protected for generations to come.
As we move forward, we will never lose sight of what makes Leominster so special. The neighborhoods, the people, the stories, the nicknames, and most of all the feeling of pride that comes from every street…every corner. The good people of Leominster are why I still love running up the front steps of City Hall every day.
Together we’ve been able to accomplish so much and I’m so honored that you have allowed me to continue representing you as Mayor for three decades. COVID-19 has been tough. But Leominster has emerged in stronger financial position and with a renewed passion to make this city the best it can be.
I am so excited at all we have planned in the future. Attracting new companies to our business parks to build our economy, marketing Leominster beyond our borders, and enhancing our quality of life through new projects, new events, and new opportunities will ensure Leominster is a place that we will be proud to pass on to our kids and grandkids.
Thank you for all your support, ideas, and help over the years. I hope you will once again place your trust in me this November. I would be truly honored for your vote.
